The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a non-pricing meal service option for schools and school districts that predominantly serve low-income children. CEP allows qualifying schools to offer free, nutritious school meals to all students without collecting traditional paper applications.

The notification deadline for CEP participation (for new or returning schools and LEAs) for the following school year is June 30.
