Employee Service Program (ESP)
As employees begin to transition to a new phase in their personal and professional lives, ESP understands that there will be a variety of reactions. Navigating the new workplace will come with excitement as well as individualized challenges and adjustments. ESP is here to assist employees through this period and remains a source of support and wellness resources.
State of Michigan employees and their eligible family members may call ESP at 1-800-521-1377 to talk confidentially with a counselor or request to schedule a video meeting with an ESP Counselor at MCSC-ESP@michigan.gov.
Below are the current ESP offerings. Please click on the corresponding link for more information and scheduling details.
Weekly Mindfulness Breaks - In response to employee requests for more mindfulness practice opportunities, ESP is now offering brief mindfulness sessions every Tuesday beginning October 5.
Monthly Manager Sessions - Managing programs and leading others can be daunting, but this is especially true during times of constant change and uncertainty. ESP now offers monthly sessions for managers focused on providing strategies and topical resources to assist with current challenges and stressors.
