The Office of Continuous Improvement (OCI) provides training, tools, and resources that enable State of Michigan employees to drive positive organizational change. The OCI works directly with all state departments to engage employees in order to improve government services for Michiganders.
To foster a statewide culture where employees are engaged, empowered, and recognized for their contributions, the Office of Continuous Improvement (OCI) surveys all state employees on a regular basis. Surveys have been conducted in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2020.
Engagement Favorability percent is one of the key measures of employee engagement and has improved from 69 percent in 2012 to 79 percent in 2020.
